The binocular can be used in two modes, standard and panning smoothly transitioning between the two modes, with a lock in panning mode to maintain system integrity.

Transitions smoothly between standard and panning mode
In standard mode the system provides the same rugged, compact and high quality binocular as the DTNVS Manual Gain. In panning mode the user can see an extra 15° in the horizontal axis. Effective FoV is 55° with 40° lenses and 65° with 50° lens.
