With the addition of manual gain to the DTNVS-V2 the controls have change compared to DTNVS-14.
The new switch controls all functions via rotation and click. Giving the user all flexibility to adjust more parameters of the device.
Manual gain control will enable the user to adjust the tube intensification level to the light levels.

The DTNVS is a lightweight folding binocular built on proven technology and enhanced for greater reliability verse previous generations of Night Vision Binoculars. The DTNVS binocular combines lightweight materials and a low profile when folded to the helmet to reduce neck strain.

The DTNVS binocular comes fully equipped with a robust feature set, including independent sideways ON/OFF control for each eyepiece, as well as automatic Flip-Up and Side-Rotate OFF functionality. When either pod is rotated upward or outward, it powers down automatically—eliminating the need for manual shutoff, preventing helmet backsplash, and significantly extending battery life.
For close-quarters use, the system includes a built-in IR illuminator with in-view indicators for both IR activation and low battery warning.
To enhance user ergonomics, we’ve added locking interpupillary distance (IPD) stops, allowing users to quickly return
Lastly, we’ve removed the external battery port. Why? The DTNVS is powered by a single, widely available CR123A battery—standard across most tactical gear. It delivers over 25 hours of runtime under normal use, and thanks to the auto shut-off feature, many users report up to 35 hours per battery.
